Pragmatic Reason rejects faith in humanity and the dignity of civilization simply and effortlessly, as the root cause of irritation. Today, along with permissiveness and cynicism, profane comfort dominates over faith amid the ubiquitous deficit of morality, dignity, and honor. The vast majority of society considers this state of affairs to be acceptable, legitimate, justified, and reasonable, a sign of the times, although in reality it is a syndrome, a sign of profound laziness and neglect towards people, humanity, culture, the future, and the harmony of existence. The crisis is still not very noticeable, despite its severity.
The glamorous gloss of civilization's surface is still pleasing to the eye, material successes are satisfying, and carelessness and irresponsibility for tomorrow are still endearing.

In such a state of affairs, the activity of culture, in particular art, should be more responsible than practical and entertaining. This is my credo.I perceive the theme of crisis as valuable source material for art, which is responsible for the fate of humanity, where the ethical is inseparable from the aesthetic, remembering, for example, the great tragedies of Shakespeare, dramas, in particular, Lesya Ukrainka's “The Possessed,” and famous films, in particular La strada and Fellini's films.
Truly contemporary art is obviously obliged to be an inspiration for the emanation of the Spirit from the subject of an excessively “lazy ” modernity with its civilizational oases, indifference to blatant injustice, and a tendency toward dubious entertainment on the brink of crisis.

Apart from the PROBLEM called Man, nothing else interests me in art.
